Recycling Clay
One of the coolest parts of ceramics is the ability for clay to be reused infinitely. Throughout my process, I acquire a nice pile of scrap clay to which I recycle and make funky planters. I fire them without glaze so we can appreciate the beauty of the raw clay. They make a perfect home for a lively plant :)

What Do I Do With A Tumbler?
Perhaps you have a pretty tumbler sitting around. What purpose can it serve to you? Cylinders are the first thing a potter masters on the wheel. Without a handle, are they rendered useless? NO!
Toss some pebbles in the bottom for drainage and its a vessel for propagation.
Cocktails with friends? Heck yeah!
Insert dried stems and its the perfect decor piece.
Pencil holder. Period.
Etc., etc., etc.!
